ARC offers unique and life changing volunteer experiences. A totally hands-on adventure that will make a difference for the animals of South Goa, in one of the most idyllic locations in the world. Whether you have suitable experience of working with domestic animals or just have a dream and ambition to make a difference, we would like to hear from you.

As well as helping to feed, clean, treat and play with ARC’s residents, you can also get involved in local fundraising and community education, marketing and social media activities, building and maintenance projects and the general administrative duties of the rescue centre. Just check out our opening hours or contact us for more information.

We work with our partners Vets and Wildlife taking clinical veterinary students to learn neutering and sterilization of stray cats and dogs with our English speaking vets. Students will also be able to assist the vet with any other surgeries that are needed depending on what animals have to come in and what emergencies there are.

The ARC Goa vet student volunteer project is organised by our partners Vets and Wildlife, a non for profit organisation who work with Veterinary students and animal charities worldwide. Accommodation is provided and a small payment for vets who are able to teach students on our spay/neuter programme.
