These kittens were just a day old when they were dumped overnight in a bag outside the ARC gates. They were fortunate to survive the night, and have been cared for since by our lovely staff.

As well-intentioned as people are, we really must discourage leaving animals at the gates, it can introduce diseases to the shelter and if any predators come along before the staff can attend to them, these kittens wouldn't have stood a chance.

These kittens were lucky, but it shouldn't be left to chance as to whether they'll survive the night.
